All Change!

It's been a while!

So what has been happening???.....I got married!!!!

I married the gorgeous Matt Castle on October 24 2013...and it was a truly amazing day!

My husband and I!

Our family.... My girls and Matts boys all looking stunning!

As well as getting married ....I moved salons! I am now working in Stubbington, within a beauty salon, it is still my own private salon, but with the added benefit of being able to get other treatments too! As it is nearer to my home I am able to spend more time in the salon and less time sat on the M27!

I have also launched my "I dye, you Dry" Colour Bar concept, where as a quick fix between main appointments you can pop in and get your colour touched up and then dry it yourself and go, enabling you to top up that colour without a cut and without the mess of colouring it at home in a speedy time.... With prices starting from £15! Full prices can be found on my online booking system at www.bookanytime.com/cordelias

I also took a make up course and am now a qualified make up artist at VTCT level 2. I love doing make up and offer special occasion make up as well as individual or group make up lessons.  I also did a vintage make up and hair day with my lovely client Honor as my model and we chose to do an Audrey Hepburn look......

It was a lot of fun! We then had a play with a quirky 40's look.....

Will definitely be doing more of those...I also want to do a special effects make up course....watch this space!

So what is new for 2014, there are still things to be done in the salon, some new furniture etc., In February I hope to train in La Brasiliana Blow Dry...if you haven't heard of it, it is a smoothing process which rids you of frizz and gives u the same look as if straighteners have been used.... But every day for about 4 months...imagine that...no straightening for 4 months....how much extra time in bed would you gain?!

I am also planning on doing a weave extensions course, not my preferred method but a lot of people do ask for it and possibly a body wrap course.....and that's just a start!

So keep in touch, watch the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/cordelias) and the website (www.cordeliashairboutique.co.uk) as well as this blog to keep up to date...I will also be looking for models for the training courses and possibly a a photo shoot!

Stay gorgeous!
